Locations
I'll try to add these sites to this map
Wellesley Island : Traditional location & a good half-way point between Toronto & Montreal ...
...the downside is that it's in the States ( N.Y.) Campground map
"Good" sites: B14 (last years) & B15 if we need to expand.
B20 or B21...not sure...but we'll try our luck at B20 for 2010 ( update: B20 is the best )
D20 (by the water)
B1 (water) & B2 (water & also a large site )
B6, B7 (water) and probably B8. ( I think I stayed there once )
"OK" sites: B10,11 & 12 are "together"...but not sure it that's good or bad. Not on the water.
B4 & B5 are also "together" , I guess that means it would be good to have both sites at the same time.
B34 to B39 area is good ,but I can't read my notes so I'm not sure which are the good sites.
( It's easily accessible by car, but the sites are small...I think B38 & B39 are good -R.G. 2009)
Ivy Lea : In Canada & also a good half-way point , but not sure if I can reserve in advance. (June/2010 : yes , on-line also)
Close to the international bridge, but some sites were good.
Long Sault : In Canada ( Ont. ) (site map)
Voyager : In Canada , Ont. (location)
Meacham : Also in the States ( N.Y.) & rather far for Ontari-ari-arians . How to get there
Rollins Pond : In the States & also rather far for the non-Quebequois . Info.
Sand Banks : Closer to Toronto but on the Canadian side & I'll have to look into reservations. Info.
Rich.T's place : Not too far for Moose , George , Rich. & Me & plenty of wildlife ;-)
